Nestled within the welcoming ambiance of the Finchampstead Baptist Church & Centre, FBC Cafe is more than just a place to grab a quick bite; it's a community hub that resonates with warmth and friendliness. This charming cafe serves as a perfect retreat for families, friends, and solo thinkers alike, offering a tranquil space to savor delicious fare while enjoying the companionship of loved ones.

The atmosphere is vibrant yet calm, making it ideal for a relaxing afternoon or a lively meet-up. With plenty of seating options, and a clean, spacious layout complemented by a kid's play area, it's no wonder FBC Cafe has become a beloved spot for locals. Children can play freely and safely while adults unwind over a hot cup of tea or coffee.

FBC Cafe is known for its thoughtful menu, which features appealing choices that cater to all tastes. Patrons rave about the delightful selection of sandwiches, toasties, paninis, baguettes, and, of course, an array of scrumptious cakes that promise to satisfy any sweet tooth. The breakfast offerings are especially popular; however, as one customer noted, an extension beyond 11:30 would be a welcome addition, allowing more people to indulge in their morning favorites.

Customer experiences at FBC Cafe further highlight its charm. Andrew Stay noted how his 7-year-old daughter loves visiting, enjoying both the library and the café's playground while relishing the varied food options. Meanwhile, Alice Krausova praised the café's cleanliness and friendly staff, remarking on the good selection of hot drinks that accompany the delightful food. Miles Cooper also shared his satisfaction with the bacon and sausage baguette, complemented nicely with a pot of tea. While he mentioned a bustling atmosphere, the essential energy only adds to the café's appeal, drawing visitors in for good conversation and hearty meals.

Despite some challenges with parking during peak times, FBC Cafe continues to shine as a beloved community gem. Its outdoor seating section beckons on lovely days, allowing patrons to bask in the fresh air—though weather can sometimes put a damper on outdoor enjoyment. Nevertheless, with an inviting environment and food that pleases both palate and spirit, FBC Cafe is certainly worth a visit, whether you're looking for a morning coffee, a hearty lunch, or simply a cozy place to catch up with friends.

My 7-year-old daughter loves it here. She enjoys visiting the library and meeting up with her friends in the cafe and playground. The food is good and varied choices. We only wish that the breakfast menu went beyond 11:30.

A nice café to sit in. Clean, spacious and with kids play area. Good selection of sandwiches / toasties / paninis and baguettes, as well as cakes and hot drinks. Friendly staff.

Had a very nice bacon and sausage baguette and pot of tea. There were a lot of people in the cafe and quite noisy. Car parking was a little difficult. Nice outdoor section but unable to use due to poor weather. Will visit again
